La Cave de Mougins

The site is majestic and well worth the visit: 12,000 bottles under the splendid 17th-century vault.
Originally, it was used for storing olive oil, when what is today’s L'Amandier Restaurant was still an oil mill and, in the ground, there remain large earthenware jars when used to contain olive oil from Mougins.

It was reopened by Chef Roger Vergé and was the cellar for his legendary Le Moulin de Mougins Restaurant.
